“Let’s just run away,” you whispered as I hold you in my hands
With you I am whisked away to far off lands
I gently caress you as I run my hand down your spine
And whisper “once again, you are all mine.”
You are the only one I want to find
The only place where I could lose my mind
You are now my nightly ritual
Our meeting up has become habitual
Together, we dream and travel
You are who I run to when my world begins to unravel
Because you lift my spirits and take me far away
You are the perfect ending to any day
Together we have been on so many exciting trips
Slayed dragons, fallen in love, sailed on ships
From you I have learned who I want to be
Together we have run through Diagon Alley
Destroyed the likes of Panem
And over time made a thousand friends
You are more to me than just ink on pages
You have imparted to me the wisdom of the ages.
